Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, Parra began his sculpture career at an early age under the guidance of his father. At 16, he attended the prestigious School of Sculpture and Blacksmithing in Guanajuato, where he developed his passion for metal sculpture.
The exhibit at the Low Gallery highlights Parra’s skill in creating realistic pieces from the animal kingdom, ranging from owls and eagles to an imposing Long Horn. Each piece is handcrafted with metals that are precisely cut and welded. These sculptures are perfect for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
